| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2009 2003 Vintage, from bottle Dec. 12th, 2009.
Pours cloudy golden as it is bottle conditioned with a small bit of carbonation. Smells of yeast, fruit, and honey. Tastes of heavy honey and sweetness. Light bodied and one of the best of the night. Very refreshing and sweetness lingers. Maybe it was the 2003 vintage that made it that much better, but I loved this one. StinkBall (62), Asheville, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Great aroma, smells just like the Abt. Very fruity with the distinctive Belgium yeast smell. Murky, light brown in color with a one finger white head that lingers. Great mouthfeel. Light bodied but a full, carbonated palate. Flavor is all fruit with a nice alcohol burn. Has a grass like aftertaste that develops late. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall, this is another great Belgium beer!! Highly recommend. Sask89 (14), Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 10, 2009 This beer pours a rather mirky pale yellow colour with a small white head. The aroma is of fruits and spice but it is not overly pronounced. There is fruit in the flavour but unfortunately all I could get was a lot of different spices which is good if that’s what you like. Light bodied with a long finish, it is easy to drink and a good beer. Bricks (39), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Smells citrusy, hoppy and like bread. Not the best beer I’ve ever smelled. Thought it was going to be more bitter than it was based on smell. Taste of malt, citrus, and bread. Can sense the alcohol. Head and lacing is top notch, but beer is for drinking, not for looking at. Great palate. A little disappointed in this one. Definitely not one of Bernardus’s best. Taverner (861), San Ramon, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Aroma is fruity spices and must. Pours a cloudy (with floaties.) Has a very citrusey flavor - almost like grapefruit. Hoppy in this sense. Flavor is refreshing, slightly sour/slightly bitter but finishes clean. keidjxz (76), Irvine, California, USA
