austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA May 24, 2002 A very pleasant and likeable Belgian. So easy-drinking for a tripel, I thought I had opened a lager by mistake. ha ha
HughConway (259), USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden with nice white head. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Flavor is deep, sweet, spicy, fruity, yeasty. Gorgeous finish. Excellent tripel. PsionSaint (49), Colorado, USA Aug 19, 2008 Golden orange color with white head. Pleasing aroma with citrus overtones. Flavor is balanced between sweet as expected with Belgium beers and a bit spicy/sour which was interesting. Very good tripel overall. Blom (605), Odense, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 Orange with a firm head. Yeasty aroma full of orange and spices. The initial moutfeel is completely numbed by an aggressive carbonation, that I’m not fond of. The flavours are spicy and sweet along the lines of peach. beezz86 (27), Jasper, Indiana, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear, golden color with a nice white head. I thought it had a slight citrus and spice aroma. The beer had a medium body, oily texture, very lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Interesting flavor with a mixture of sweet, sour, and bitterness. This is the first tripel I have every had, but I wasn’t impressed. I do like the continual frothiness, but would not buy this again. JB175 (1319), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 13, 2008 Golden color with a medium-large head. Aroma has some nice sugary-citrusy essence with a bit of spice. Flavor is a bit of spicy/sweet/sour sugary goodness that is tough to beat. A classic tripel
