Commercial Description:
This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Pours a nice hazy golden color, thick head which mostly dissipates fairly quickly. A little spicy, sour, and fruity. A little tart for my taste but very good.

Tripels are not my favorite style, but I do like this one. Not much Aroma. There is some visible sediment floating in the beer. The taste is a smooth banana and yeast combination. Very mellow.

Very pale orange color with lots of floating debris. It looks fine if you don’t hold it up to the light. The aroma is mellow, the malt is the star, with some hops to back it up. Some floral and apple notes play a nice counterpart to the malt. Flavor is also nicely mellow. Not too bitter, and just a hint of sweetness. Light and spritzy carbonation. A very good beer overall.

Pours a cloudy pale golden with a large frothy off white head. Aroma is medium sweet, fruity, spicy and very light alcohol. This tripel has a decent amount of sweetness (much less than Tripel Karmeliet) which is nicely balanced with a slightly lesser amount of bitterness. Lively carbonation, creamy texture. Medium to full bodied, short and dry finish. This is another fine beer from St. Bernardus.

Exploding bottle. Cloudy gold/orange pour, frothy white head. Fruit, earthy malt, light sweetness and banana, floral. Pretty tasty tripel, well done.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a murky yellow colour with a good size head and normal carbonation. Aroma is very vague, but pleasant none the less, would have been better if it was a bit stronger. Taste is very fruity, citrusfruits and sweet fruits there, nicely balanced with some spices on top. Good beer.

75cl bottle. From a friend. Best before 2012-12-28. It poured a light orange colour with a big white creamy head that settled down fast in the glass. Very carbonized. Aroma is fruity with notes of yeast and some wheat. Flavour is dry and a bit grassy and fruity. Medium long aftertaste.

clear and golden with huge white head. fruity nose. moderate carbonation for style. flavor with mild bitterness before some fruity esters and some strong alcohol, notes of oxidation makes me think this is an over aged bottle. the prospects of a great triple are there, but this particular bottle is likely less than ideal.
