Commercial Description:
This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Pours a nice hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is esthers, banana, spices, fruits, alcohol, sugars, yeasts. Flavor is banana, sugars, yeasts, fruits, citrus, a bit of bitterness. Lots of carbonation. Decent Tripel, not too sweet.

It poured a hazy golden liquid with a creamy white foam that left lots of lacing. Smell of yeast, dried fruit, wood and honey. The honey scent was quite strong. The mouthfeel was semi-smooth with just a bit of roughness. It had a medium body and low bitterness. Tasted similar to the smell and the most dominant flavour was definitely honey. Lots of sweetness. Very nice beer, one of the best triples I have ever tried.

Pours golden, off white head. Aroma has a prominent belgian yeast character, sweet candi sugar backed by cloves. A great sweet flavour, balanced by dry alcohol, strong cloves, warm, spicy. Awesome.

Bottle from Total Wine. A cloudy yellow beer with a large pillowy white head. Moderate aroma of bread, bananas and oranges. Flavor closely resembles the aroma...a bit sour in the beginning and again at the end. Flavors are not intense enough to cut through the sourness or complex enough to work well together. It is, however, nice and frothy as advertised

Tripels are not my favorite style, but I do like this one. Not much Aroma. There is some visible sediment floating in the beer. The taste is a smooth banana and yeast combination. Very mellow.

Very pale orange color with lots of floating debris. It looks fine if you don’t hold it up to the light. The aroma is mellow, the malt is the star, with some hops to back it up. Some floral and apple notes play a nice counterpart to the malt. Flavor is also nicely mellow. Not too bitter, and just a hint of sweetness. Light and spritzy carbonation. A very good beer overall.

Pours a cloudy pale golden with a large frothy off white head. Aroma is medium sweet, fruity, spicy and very light alcohol. This tripel has a decent amount of sweetness (much less than Tripel Karmeliet) which is nicely balanced with a slightly lesser amount of bitterness. Lively carbonation, creamy texture. Medium to full bodied, short and dry finish. This is another fine beer from St. Bernardus.

Exploding bottle. Cloudy gold/orange pour, frothy white head. Fruit, earthy malt, light sweetness and banana, floral. Pretty tasty tripel, well done.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a murky yellow colour with a good size head and normal carbonation. Aroma is very vague, but pleasant none the less, would have been better if it was a bit stronger. Taste is very fruity, citrusfruits and sweet fruits there, nicely balanced with some spices on top. Good beer.
