Commercial Description:
This traditional German favorite boasts large amounts of banana, apricot, and clove esters with a crisp refreshing finish. Hefeweizen is served unfiltered, as the yeast plays a major role in the flavor profile of this beer.

On tap. Cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Very mild spicy yeast aroma. Flavor is dominated with banana and clove, with a slightly funky undetermined off flavor at the end. Light body that has a crisp mouth feel.

Tap a brewery/resturant. This pours a hazy( of course) yellow with a nice white head. Strong banana nose! This has strong banana, clove taste! Easy drinker, good for style. I’m not big on hefeweizen but this is a good sample of the style.
