Malty nose with notes of dark fruit, prunes, dried figs, raisins, chocolate and dark rye bread. Malty, slightly burnt taste with dark/dried fruit, prunes and chocolate fudge. Slightly vinous finish with warming alcohol sweetness and spicy hops. Very solid and reliable abbey dubbel. A school book example. Very nice.
