The smell and first impression of this beer is of chocolate and caramel. But that’s not the last you’re seeing of chocolate. Oh no! Full flavour. Thick. Smooth. Chocolate in the taste too. Tastes like a whole dessert in a glass. This is one of my old faves and definitely a top brune! Great creamy aftertaste that lingers like a great chocolate banquet! bask (305), Leuven, Belgium

Brown colour with a hint of alcohol, with a little slow disappearing browny head. Malty with spices, caramel and spices. The flavour is more fruity than expected from the aroma, with a roasty finish. Worth trying if not just for the beautiful floral aroma that persists from uncorking to the last drop-reminds me of the Castelain Blonde Bier de Garde in that way. I could not find anything objectionable in the taste at all and it’s one of the best Belgians I’ve had. Now all I have to do is move to Belgium.. rlgk (3378), Vårgårda, Sweden
