| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 12, 2009 (bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Dark ruby pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is very sweet, malty, and fruity with a lot of hints of apple, pear, and plum. Some caramel and toffee as well. Flavor begins with a sweet and malty with a mild fruit middle. Some mild spice and a lot more fruits come through at the end and leave a mildly cloying but rather sweet malt finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Very tasty.
