Commercial Description:
St. George Fall Bock is our offering of an non-traditional seasonal beer. This Autumn warmer, based on our brewmaster's favorite styles of German beers, couples the dominate malt character and full-bodied base needed to support a higher-alcohol Bock Beer. True to style, we use only noble German hops for perfectly balanced bitterness and a medium hop aroma. A unique lager yeast and a centuries old conditioning process result in an especially smooth, but STRONG (and not surprisingly) amber colored lager with a fine creamy head.

Had this one bottled in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. One of the best beers I’ve ever had. Medium brown color with a filmy head, very nice nuts and strawberry in the nose, and lucious fruitiness continues throughout. This is candy for beer drinkers. wonderful!

This bock was great. Very amber in color with a light hops smell and a decent head. very crisp taste not too bitter. It was a very smooth beer for high content beer.

Had this at St. George Brewing in their sampling room. *** Also, while picking up some cask conditioned Porter today (10-15-04), Conor gave me a bottled sample of this. Thanks Conor! Amber body. Nose is light spicy hops and a pleasant maltiness. Bit of mild grassiness as well. Taste is malty with more of the spiciness coming through. Crisp at times but still a bit chewy. The alcohol is there but not overdone and leaves a bit of warming with it. Finishes well with milder malt and hop spice with minimal bitterness. Very good beer!

Pours orange with a fine, white head. Caramel, honey, citrus aroma. Moderate mouth feel with a hoppy backdrop. Caramel, honey, and fruity flavors appear. Very good.

Draft. Got WASTED on this a few weeks ago. Easy drinker, mild carbonation. Faint tan head clings. Pretty deep orange/brown. Sweet, almost buttery. Satisfying.

(12oz bottle) Crystal clear copper body topped by creamy, medium tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is sweet, cherry, caramel, some alcohol. Taste is sweet, caramel/cookie, cherry, light alcohol that complements the big maltiness. Smooth, medium-full body. A bit sweet for my taste, but still pretty enjoyable.

Bottle. Poured a bright orange-red with a firm foam top. Slight sugary aroma. Sugary and sweet with an almost beefy aspect. This would go well with a gravied steak. Mega-malty.

Medium orange brown, slight head lasted fairly well. Aroma was caramel and bread. Flavor was bready with a nice hint of hoppy floral notes on the finish. Really a nice little beer.
