Commercial Description:
St. George Golden Ale is based on an old British recipe, but with an American twist - a slightly sweet, malty flavor with a citrusy finish. It has a thick, creamy head and is golden amber in color.

The aroma is grassy and malty with a hint of lemon. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall an OK beer.

Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours peach colored with a good sized head and good lacing. Very sweet honey-ish aroma. Taste is smooth with a grapefruit-ish tang. Not bad.

Nice amber color with a lot of whitish head. Lemony, metallic aroma. Hoppy flavor with a lingering charcoal and metal aftertaste. A bit thin, but OK.

Golden color. Nothing really stands out but thats not always a bad thing. Very subtle citrus smell. Might have again.

Pours a golden color with a sparse white head. Floral aroma. Acrid hops make this beer a little too acidic for my liking. Not one of my favorite goldens

Descent golden ale. For an APA I would prefer more balance but a nice brew otherwise. Little hoppy nice wheaty malt balance. Body had some creamyness and bread.

Bottle sampled. Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma of citrus, bready, and malts. Flavor is moderate bitterness with light caramel and sweet malts
