Commercial Description:
St. George Golden Ale is based on an old British recipe, but with an American twist - a slightly sweet, malty flavor with a citrusy finish. It has a thick, creamy head and is golden amber in color.

Clear orange-amber with a brief but sizeable and sticky white head. Expressive floral and grapefruit nose, sweet and lovely. Medium-bodied, with relatively low carbonation. Flavors are dry but not terribly bitter. They never veer towards real sweetness, but they hint at it with some notes of fruit. Notes of yeast also appear from time to time, adding complexity. The finish features a suggestion of apricot and even greater intensity of flavor than the entry and mid-palate. A pleasurable, flavorful, and somewhat characterful brew that plays well above its ABV.

Dark maize with a light tan foamy head Hoppy-citric nose. Smooth and richly malted, citric-acidic-sweet finish. Good beer.

Beautiful thick golden color, aroma is slightly sweet and is followed by a very smooth flavor with a hint of fruit. Excellent all around experience!

Lovely clear amber body topped by a small creamy beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, light orange/grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitterness, floral, orange, light caramel. Medium body with light chewiness. A delightful beer, perfect for sessions.

Light and fruity with just enough bitterness. Definitely in the West Coast light ale tradition (Full Sail Golden Ale springs to mind). I affirmatively enjoy this beer, which amazes me, given that this is an essentially ’training wheels’ beer style.

Clear, bright amber/gold appearance with a small off white head. Grassy, slightly toasted, light floral aroma. Moderately sweet taste, decently hopped, with a good malt backbone. The term "golden ale" instilled a preconceived idea of a sweet, adjunct laden, barely passable style, but this is much better than the expectations and works quite well as an APA.

Pours a nice clear copper with a white head. Sweet malt and light floral qualities in the nose. Toasty malts, caramel, toffee, citrus and honey make up the taste. Medium light hops on the back end. Pleasantly sweet and robust/full bodied. Very full, round and creamy on the palate. Good stuff.
