Light lacing and carbonation. Very nice earthy hop aroma (Fuggles). Very light malt flavor, but nice hop bitternes. Light to medium body. The best English style IPA I’ve had. Thanks Tim. brewblackhole (1385), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Grassy grainey hop aroma, orange amber color,no head to speak of, grassy hop dominated taste, touch of malt sweetness in the middle, bitterness aplenty in the finish. Not enough malt presence to be an English IPA, that grassy hop taste indicates they might have over dry hopped, but its certainly a very drinkable IPA bubbleflubber (898), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2006 Definite Fuggles and caramel to the nose. Pours copper into the glass, with a minimal head and no lace of which to speak. Decent hop characteristic with pine notes, underscored with caramel and subtle butter rum. Mouthfeel is a bit light for the style... not watery, but not a full IPA "feel". On the whole, it feels a bit underbalanced. Decent brew, though. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2006 Bottle: Clear, copper/orange. Small white head. Aroma is floral, a hint of pine, a little sweetness. Flavor is hoppy up front, but more of a sweet malty finish than a bitter one. After a 2.5 hour drive, this hits the spot. But it’s nothing special, middle of the road IPA. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

Flavors were classical IPA. Nothing to offend, but nothing overly exciting. Good. Satisfying.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Poured from a 12oz bottle a good amber color with an off-white head. Aroma was citrus hops with carmel and malt undertones. Flavor had more malt and caramel coming through with a good (not outstanding) hop bite. Good brew for those warm summer days. gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 20, 2006 From bottle. Pours a clear copper with thin white head. Nose is sweet, candied orange. Flavor is a weaker version with lots of bitter. Mixes well with a lingering malt backbone. Pretty solid IPA once it warms up. TheEpeeist (1486), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA
