Nice aroma of sweet caramel malt and some spicy hops. Smooth, well rounded medium mouthfeel, lightly carbonated. Toffee, light sweet malt and spicy hop flavors lead to a dry, slightly atringent and lasting finish. A nicely done IPA. grant (792), Colorado Springs, CO, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2005 Hazy cider appearance, little head. Mild aroma of biscuits, tea and slightly herbaceous hops. Flavor is initially very full, fruity and doughy with dancing carbonation and premature hints of more sylvan hops, but sort of implodes and thins out to a mildly bitter, yeast-dominated and nutty finish. I was digging it up until the finish. Courtesy of The_Beer_God. Rockinout (946), Kent, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 26, 2005 Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Medium amber color, a bit light for the style, with white head. Nose is a ncie balance of grapefruit citrus hops, piney earthy hops, sugary-sweet hops, and medium caramel malt. Flavor is a wonderful celebration of the hop, Fuggles per the commercial description. Really a fantastic hop presence and balance with the malt, just what I want in an IPA. Palate is incredibly smooth, perfect carbonation, with a nice crisp earthy/piney hop finish. I really enjoyed this, a nice reminder of why I like IPA.
