Copper, thin white head. Nose is honeycomb, raisin malt. Flavor is honey malts, nice bitterness for a moment then summer grassiness.

Jun 29, 2008 Bottle from a dragon pack from Whole Foods in Charlottesville. Orange-brown pour with a minimal head. Piney and earthy hop aroma. Vegetal/grassy hop taste with a nutty malt background. Like most of their beers, not spectacular but very drinkable.

May 31, 2008 The aroma is hoppy with mostly herbal and floral hops. There is also caramel and rootbeer. The appearance is hazy amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a hoppy finish. The palate is average. Overall this is better than average.
