Good mainstream effort for the less complex beer palate (like my wife). Clean and crisp with enough malt and hop flavor to let you know someone put in a little effort. obguthr (1072), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Mar 31, 2007 It had a nice clear golden color, with no head. There was but a faint aroma of cereal grains. The taste was akin to putting a 9v battery to your tongue, stinging and flavorless. I bought it as part of the variety six pack from the brewer at my local grocer. I was impressed by the others in the pack, but this was clearly generic filler. Maybe I just don’t like lager. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 25, 2007 Bottle. Really not that bad. Some nice crisp biscuit malts in the nose and in the flavor, some light butter or olive oil flavors but nothing terrible. Good frothy body, decent carbonation, nicely fresh and enjoyable. guzzler67 (1288), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Clear golden appearance with a small, white head. Muted aroma, some maltiness, but a slight vegatal note. Light bodied mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, mildly hopped, grainy, grassy. Clean, dry, short lived finish. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Clean solid beer that is more along the lines of a continental/helles. Crisp and quenching. Nice quaffer that could use more of a Pils malt base. Salsgebom (20), North Carolina, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 13, 2007 I thought this one was great. Good bready maltiness with a subdued lager flavor in the background. While it does lose points for clarity, it gains points for a great balance of complexity and drinkability. Yet another victim of ratebeer.com’s biast against light beer. Sure I prefer an IIPA, but judging the style at hand- St. George did well on this one. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with foamy white head. The aroma is bready malt with some lemon hints and a little bit of butterscotch candy. The flavor is sweet bread, maybe even muffins. There is some lemon and some light piney notes, as well. Clean, but weak finish. I was actually pleasantly surprised with this. I was expecting crap, but it is quite quaffable. LooseCannon (936), Norfolk, Virginia, USA
