Some nice crisp biscuit malts in the nose and in the flavor, some light butter or olive oil flavors but nothing terrible. Good frothy body, decent carbonation, nicely fresh and enjoyable. Lagers get no respect, even when well made, and this one is no exception. The pour is hazy canary gold with 1-finger whitish head. Aroma of apricot, peach, hopcitrus, pale malt. Very fruity, nice aroma. Tastes hopcitric, pale malty, with some honey and apricot notes. The taste isn’t as fruity as the smell, but this one stays smooth, crisp, and complex all the way through, making me wish I had a sixer. In my mind, this is one of the world’s top twenty lagers.
