Commercial Description:
St. George Pilsner is a clean, crisp lager based on our brew master's extensive brewing experience in northern Germany. A centuries-old conditioning process and a unique lager yeast require a much longer processing time than our standard ales and result in an exceptionally smooth beer. Traditional 2 Row Pale and Munich Malts along with noble German Hops ensure a well-balanced, pale golden lager with a fine creamy head. Prost!

One bottle from varity pk I got while in OBX. Poured golden in color with a avg. white head. Smooth texture of the body was nice, but the slightly bitter ending was not.

A malty sweetness in the nose was a surprise, so was the appearance, hazy but nice gold. A bit of grapefruit in the aroma too. Palate was nice and subtle and the hops came through at the end.

Had this one bottled in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. A very nice Pilsener. Straw colored golden pour with a nice thick white head, nose of hops and delightful lemongrass notes. Very good.

Bottle: Courtesy of Immy via trade. Aroma is light sweet citrus with some light floral and grassy hops. Pours a bright transparent golden-orange with a moderate creamy white head with fair retention. Sweet up front with a fruitiness that lasts from start to finish. Finishes with a light floral and citrus hoppiness. Floral hops linger into the aftertaste for a short time. Not a pilsner fan, but this has to be one of the better pilsners I’ve ever tasted. Very suprised by this one. Very few pilsners score in the 3’s with me, nevermind the high 3’s. This would be a great refreshing summer session beer. My highest rated pilsner.

Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Pale gold with white head. Aromas of grass, dry hay, tangy light malt, and some sour citrus notes. Flavors of all of the above, very well balanced, crisp and bitter throughout, with a lingering tart bite in the finish. Very tasty.

A decent pilsner that was finely balanced. The taste was very crisp. Enjoyable on a warm summer afternoon. Not the best pilsner, but a decent beer.

Pours a cloudy pale orange. Faint grapefruity aroma. Good amount of carbonation (but not too much). Decent pilsner, nothing too exciting, but its easy to drink. Drink several.

A very pale yellow body with a slight white head. Minimal aroma, very hard to distinguish though there is a heavy amount of carbonation present. Good grapefruit beginning and a clean ending with some other citrus accents in the back of the throat.
