Commercial Description:
St. George Porter weaves a complex tapestry of flavors in a black, ruby colored ale. A rich malt base, typical of St. George Ales, results in caramel and chocolate tones, classically balanced with English bittering and aromatic hops.

Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Deep black with brown head. Aromas of roasted barley, molasses, and a coffee-like dryness. Flavor follows, with a crisp palate and clean finish, a nice dose of bitterness throughout. A fine porter.

On tap at the Brewgrass Festival in Asheville, has a nice, chocolatey aroma, but a bland flavor. So so.
