Commercial Description:
St. George Spring Lager is a classical example of what many consider to be the original lager beer. Amber-colored and medium bodied with a rich, roasted malt character this beer has a smooth, slightly sweet malt flavor with traditional German hops providing a noble, perfectly-balanced hop bitterness. A slightly fruity, dry finish tops off this style as does a thick, creamy white head.

A surprise hoppiness hit me when I opened the bottle. Slight fruityness to the aroma that almost had a hint of berries. Taste was similar but was rounded out by a malty backbone. I hope to see this in 6-packs as I could easily drink a few in one sitting and not tire of it one bit!

Tangy malty lager aroma, malt beginning with a zingey spicey hop finish, Slight sweetness in the aftertaste. Tastey enough to be above a lawnmower brew

Golgen amber color with a overflowing head. Smell of malt, hops honey and alcohol. Taste of honey, cork, rye, hops, malt and a hint of flowers. A nutty bitterness at the end.

Bottle thanks to Numenor: Pours a clear copper amber with a thin-lacing wispy off-white head. Sweet toasty earthy German malty aroma has some grainy notes and noble hoppiness. Body has some more sweet earthy malts with mild bitterness and a smooth, slightly drier, grainy finish. Well-balanced and true to style.

Bottle - Clear caramel color with fair amount of head. LIght aroma and balanced taste which is slightly sweet on the finish. Preferred this brew over the St George Lager.

Pours out brownish color. Taste is sweet and fairly refreshing. Something I could drink alot of. An interesting brew to say the least, though I wouldnt recommend it over others of the style.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Beer_God (thanks!). Poured a deeper orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grass, biscuity, caramel, and it also has a very light fruitiness to it. Tastes of grass, caramel, and bready.

12oz bottle. Not too bad. Hoppy, with some light and very crisp taste. Nice finish. Not a huge head.
