Flavor is moderately bitter grapefruit-citrus. Nothing really memorable about this beer, but it was fairly refreshing and quenchable. puzzl (2660), New York, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2006 Bottle from secret santa. I’m actually kinda surprised this is an ale. It comes across very lagery, but is very nice in that regard. Aroma is almost non-existant, with perhaps a bit of parmesan and/or nacho cheese, jalapeno, dry malts. Balanced flavor, kind of toasty, slight fruit, but very crisp and drinkable. Slight bitterness. Very drinkable and likely enjoyable by a wide audience. Trooper11 (467), Suffolk, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2006 Deep amber color, very carbonated, almost no head. Aroma of light fruit, pear, cherry, apples. Smells sweet. Starts sweet malty, fizzy with slight bitter finish. Refreshing summer brew. aracauna (2423), Georgia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 7, 2006 Pours a clear gold with a smallish head. The aroma is a little fruity, but there’s not a lot else going on with this beer. I kept expecting something to make it interesting, but nothing did. gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2006 From bottle. Pours a nice golden hue with white head. Nose is crisp, with lemon honey and grass. Flavor follows, with a bit of an odd aftertaste. Otherwise, very palatable. slimweebs (144), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 10, 2006 My overall score was high comparative to the individual rankings, because this beer serves its purpose: It’s a highly drinkable, but still flavorful refreshing summer beer. It’s quite good. Braudog (3780), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Updated: Feb 11, 2008Bottle: Poured an orange-tinged golden color with a towering head of white rocky foam. I had to sniff very hard to get any aroma at all, but got a light hint of nutmeg and honey. The first quaff is earthy and gristy with a pale malt character. There’s almost a chewiness here with just a light grassy hop finish. bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 24, 2006 Pours light amber into the glass, with a nice head and mild retention/lace. There are small hints of grapefruit, honey and pine hops to the nose. This is well-balanced, with notes of caramel, grapefruit and pine hops... all very well-integrated. The hops to allow for a medium bitter finish. Great for summer, and highly drinkable. I was impressed with this one.
