Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy deep copper with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is huge Wheaties dipped in honey almonds and walnuts. Flavor is nuttier than Charles Manson, with a huge interlayered amount of nuts, including almond, walnut, hazelnut, pecan, brazil nut, plus a heavy corn flakey flavor. This one has a taste profile that is somewhat similar to Celebrator, only this one is nuttier and doesn;t have the boldness or heft of palate of Celebrator. If I could find a case of this, I’d buy it. I’d stock this year round if I could. It’s that damned good.

Sep 30, 2008 on tap-pours a thin white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, some fruit, earthy hops. Taste is medium malt-caramel, some fruit, earthy hops. Slightly nutty/dry as I get further in.

Jul 17, 2008 The aroma is nutty with caramel, hops, and malt. The appearance is red brown with a smaller head. The flavor is bitter sweet with caramel and toffee being the dominate tastes. The palate is thin. Overall very decent.

Jul 9, 2008 From dkachur via trade. Poured tan, not brown into my shaker glass. The head was off-white, one finger tall and produced minimal lacing. The aroma was lots of malt with a very little bit of sweetness and nut. A little bit of citrus as well. The flavor was malt, nuts and light citrus. The mouthfeel was thin and overall it was the very definition of "meh".

Jun 23, 2008 Draft at Colonial Downs Rhythm, Bets,and Brews Fest. Clear dark golden/amber but not brown. Very slight roast and carmelized malt aroma. Light carmelized malts and nutttiness dominate flavor with a touch of roast. Moderate hop bitterness with low carbonation. Medium body with slightly sweet roast finish. Quite tasty
