Single bottle from the Dragon Pack, sold at Total Wine inHuntersville NC. Pours a very dark black with a light beige head. Aroma is malty and a touch sweet. Taste is sweet and roasty with a nice finish. A great beer, the alcohol is well hidden in this one.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Completely opaque black with a small, beige head. Full and sweetish, roasted malt aroma. Medium body with sweetish, roasted malt and a distinct malt astringent finish. Has a somewhat ashy edge. 310507

12oz bottle. Deep opaque brown hue. Tan spiraling head. Nice nose. Cocoa and prunes. Dark fruit. Brownies and anise. Medium to full bodied. Nice palate. Smooth and effervescent. Then bitter and sticky burnt. With all of then leaving a fingerprint behind to join the moderate alcohol burn in the finish. Flavors of toffee and citrus. Coffee and dark chocolate. Burnt with a burn. Citrus and coffee acidity mixed with fruit breads and dessert. Touch graham cracker. Good juice. Truly enjoiable.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Light brown dense head. Coffee, roast, chocolate, sweetness and a light herbal touch in the aroma. Flavour is fruity and sweet with loads of coffee, roast and herbs. Light spicy notes. Medium bodied. Has coffee and sweet chocolate in the end, giving a sweet bitterness. Nice. Thanks to Immy for this.

A great stout. These guys make great beer! A pitch oil pour with a thin tan head. Nice damp malty nose. Wonderful sweet alcohol on the tongue along with a candy store of caramels and chocolate. Wow.

12 oz. bottle via trade with Immy - Pours a dark brown color with a one fimger thick tan head. Very little lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee, and light easters (cherry). Very nice. Flavor is roasted malt and chocolate. Palate is a little bitter, and watery for an IS. Medium body. A very nice IS. Thanks Tim.

The nose was a sufficiently strong mix of caramel and mesquite. It poured dark and moderately thick. There was very little carbonation. The taste was not as complex as the aroma would have you believe, nor was it as thick. It was sweet and grassy, with charcoal on the edges. The grassy taste returns well after drinking it and stays. I’d say it was a delicious beer, but I’m a bit discriminating when it comes to imperial stouts.
