A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is very sweet with notes of toasted bread, leading to a rather dry end.

[Bottled, thanks chris_o!] Very black, creamy head. Chocolatey head. Sweet with loads of caramel, chocolate and licorice. Full bodied with rather soft mouthfeel and notes of tobacco. Salty bitter finish.

Bottle… RBSG2006... Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, light brown head. The nose is of roasted cashews, molasses and milk chocolate. Sweet, rich flavor with lots of chocolate and molasses. Burnt, bitter notes help with balance. Mega full-bodied with a fatty mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Finishes bitter-sweet and abrasive.

Bottle courtesy of Degarth: Viscous opaque oily body hosts a thin wispy dark tan head. Sweet dark fruity and smoky aroma has some mild soy and dark chocolate complexity. Body starts with lots of sweet milk chocolate and dark fruit complexity with a hint of smoke. A nicely balanced, lightly-warming imperial stout.
