Aug 10, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden, smal head. Light grassy nose. Mediu dry with rounded mouthfeel. A git grassy with resiny finish. Very streamlined pilsener. Below average by Franconian standards.

Aug 7, 2008 50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours clear yellow with a creamy and chalkwhite head. Nice citrusy hops aroma, clean. Flavour is mild citric hops with a subdued sweetness. Delicate and crisp. Smooth citrus fruity finish with a mild level of bitterness. Great!

Jul 12, 2008 Bottled at Eulenspiegel, Bamberg, 500 ml. Gold with white head. Lemony, hoppy clear Pilsener, quite dry and pleasingly nicely still. refreshing on a baking day. Reasonable.

May 11, 2008 From tap at St. Georgenbräu. Warm golden with a nice, dense head. The aroma has notes of flower and malt. The flavour is fruity hoppy with a slightly dry, citrussy bitterness, and there is a light note of malt too. It’s refreshing and nice.

Feb 16, 2008 Bottle at St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. Very bright gold colour with a lively condition. Lots of sharp, quenching hops. A touch of toasted malt but it underpins the hoppy character rather than clashing with, or dominating. Nice crisp, dry mouthfeel. Wonderfully refreshing. This truly is a classic German pilsner. I’d like to try this one on tap.
