Commercial Description:
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

Amber with a white bubbly head. & good lacings. Very malty aroma - nutty/bread/caramel - light sweet. Medium carbonation & body. Very nice bitter hops that gives a pleasant lasting end & a fine balance to the maltyness!. fresh & crisp. Nice!

A tad toasty on the malt side, small flavors of caramel and nuts. There is a smokiness that is quite appealing, pours very thin though.

The aroma is very grainy and reminds me of cereal and grass. The appearance is deep amber with a small head. The flavor is bitter and sweet without any real character. The palate is thin. Overall it’s not that good but maybe it’s old.

Taste of cereal, golden/amber color, hazy, white foam with amber stripes(?), medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, full body, creamy, lively. It is my favotite beer in Germany!

Bottle at Tjeldsundfergen, Oslo. Hazy amber, dense offwhite head. Malty, spicy aroma. Deliciously sweet and spicy flavours, hints of rye bread, dry finish. A likeable, complex German.

Bottle@Tjeldsund, Oslo. An amber-colored beer with a slight haze.Thick, mostly diminishing near-white head. Nice rustic aroma of lightly toasted malts. Notes of wood, smoke and dark bread. Very flavorfull; lightly toasted malts again, with a good amount of earthy and herbal hops to balance. Medium body. Smooth and mouthfilling. I’m really fond of this type... and this one is a very nice acquaintance.

50 cl bottle at Tjeldsundfergen, Oslo. Barnyard aroma, very true to type Kellerbier. Full flavour, lots of sweet malt. The maturation har made a very smooth beer where the hops and malts are melted together.

500 ml bottle. Dark amber colour. Hazy. High carbonation level as lots of bubbles rise to the top. Tall white fluffy head that falls down eventually. Bready and yeasty aroma. Feels powdery and rich on the tongue. Münchener malt flavours. Nice balance between the malts and the hops, even though none of them really stand out. The texture is what makes this beer. Nice.
