| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2007 A really nice simple beer. A yellow brown, though somehow not yellow color. A frothy white head, diminishing quickly. the nose is straight up German lager. Nontrivial malt, with a bit of caramel and a slight bit of toast, though not unclean. Vienna malt? Some floral hops for sure, but relatively subdued. Solid body for a lager, good creaminess and a bit soapy, but in a good way. A rather satisfying bit of malt, though not so sweet so as to make this not a thirst quencher. Again, a bit of caramel and more toast goes well with the spicey to peppery Saaz hop sort of backbone. This is a real nice thirst quencher. It’s like a maltier Pilsner. Or maybe a hoppier doppelbock? Barely perceptible levels of diacetyl don’t come close to ruining this beer. A little toast and some strawberry sort of fruit in the finish but a good lingering hop bite bitterness in the aftertaste. I certainly wouldn’t mind drinking more Keller if this is any indication. jcr (1171), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2007 Reminds me of an ESB with its toffee aroma and lingering bitter finish. Spare, diminishing head above a cloudy, amber body. Aroma is toffee and grass with a slight plastic, band-aid smell. Moderately sweet flavor with a moderate bitterness. Medium body and a thin texture. Soft carbonation. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 14, 2007 500 ml. bottle pours outr a slightly hazyamber after gentle agitation of the bottle to distribute the yeast sediment during the pur. Large off white rocky head that lasts and lasts, and shows a new ring of lace with each gulp - very nice indeed. Aroam has a malty base under a veil of floral and grassy hops. Medium body and surprisingly light carbonation given the size and constitution of the head. There is a bit of a syrupy and sticky quality, but not objectionable. Nice balance with a satisfying slightly spicy bitterness that rounds out the malt and leads to a dry, yet not really bitter, finish. ryan (1778), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

The aroma is slightly fruity yeast, bread and herbal hops. The flavor is fairly dry, moderately hopped, herbal, grassy with some malty breadiness. Medium body is moderately carbonated and refreshing. Amazing stuff. agl108 (509), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2007 Dark dunkel style beer that is very malty. It reminds me a little of Stiner Bock. This is not an extremely complex beer, but it does satsify those who enjoy a malty style cold beverage!
