Commercial Description:
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a medium mostly lasting creamy head. Rich aroma and taste of sweet caramel with hoppy notes. Good german beer.

Dark amber with an OK head. The aroma has notes of flower and caramel. The flavour has notes of aroma hops, fruit, flower, caramel and a light sweetness. The finish has a light bitterness, that balances the overall impression nicely. I like this one, it has a nice hop selection.

500 cl bottle. Dark golden beer with a thin white head. toasty malt aroma adn soft caramelly character. Earthy/floral hops. Quite interesting showing light anise, some interesting malts as well. Rye/wheaty spiciness. Low bitterness, but a drying hop flavoured finish. Full-bodied accentuated by the low carbonation. Toasty/earthy malt flavour. Warming intensifies the hop flavour and brings out a soft herbal bitterness as well. Nice.

Draught. Amber with a fine creamy head. Weak malty aroma. Taste is also a bit thin. Dry and quite bitter at the end.

Pour a clear deep piss colored amber. Nose is fruity- a lot of different fruits i might even clasify ’fruit punch’. flavor is blah and then very bitter. Although it looks easy to drink and light in alcohol, its really just a hearty lager that wants to waste precious liver space. Im sure this is spot-on for the style, but for me it just gets in the way of a night full of interesting beers. Still, despite all my criticism, this is a fantabulous Lanbier!!

(Flaske 50 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Lightly nutty nose. Medium-bodied with rather dry notes of nuts and lightly burned caramel. Quite a hop bitter finish. 261106

Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Hazy amber color with a small white head. Aroma is malty and lightly nutty. Flavor starts caramel sweet and nutty with a light hop spicyness and finishes lightly dry and peppery. Medium bodied and smooth with moderate carbonation. Nice.

Hazy amber color with smallish head. Aromas were caramel and sugar. Actually pretty sweet. Flavor was similar. lIke a sweet lager. Not too bad for my first and likely only sample of this style.
