Aug 9, 2006 500ml bottle. Clear amber with a slightly off white head. Good carbonation. Nose is somewhat sweet, with buttery caramel and malt, some herbal notes. Nice foamy lace. Flavor is somewhat sweet, more buttery caramel, biscuit, some floral flavors I can’t quite place. Fairly soft, but lively mouthfeel. Nice peppery bite in the finish. Very good.

Jul 19, 2006 Like a delicious loaf of lager bread. I enjoyed this bottle a lot. Yeasty floaters and darker than most keller beers I have had but still had a very nice malty body.

Jul 15, 2006 Bottle. Hazy dark amber with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet caramel malt earthy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium malty sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Better than my expectations.

Jul 4, 2006 (500ml bottle) Crystal clear light amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, some earthy, butter. Taste is medium sweet, floral, caramel, some butter, light toffee. Soft, light-medium body.

Jun 29, 2006 Poured a clear copper, slight head fading quickly. There was yeast, but it remained firmly compacted at the bottom of the bottle. Not even a trace in suspension. Very nice biscuit aroma. Flavor was a combination of biscuit malts and slight flower and vegetal hops. Very much like an Oktoberfest in my opinion. Tasty.

Jun 28, 2006 Max’s had this on Tap for a special beer event. My first introduction to a keller Bier, it is good. nice and cloudy on the pour with a size head. the flavor is hoppy but well balenced. the hops don’t hit you in the face. there was a slight bit of sour or tart flavor witch just added to the beer.

Jun 19, 2006 Pours a cloudy, light brown into an english pint. Micro off-white head with excellent staying power that lasts throughout. Soft and slightly creamy with up-front bread malt with a medium, dry hop finish. Would make a great session beer.

Jun 16, 2006 500 ml bottle, via porterhouse. Pours a dark gold with a slight yeast haze under a small fizzy off-white head with good retention. Aroma is of bready malt, light yeast, and a soft subtle fruitiness. Flavor is similar to aroma, bready crackery malt and an ale like fruitiness. The finish is semi-dry with light yeast. Mouthfeel is very smooth with soft fine carbonation that makes it very easy to drink. Overall, pretty good. I thought it a little better than the only other Keller beer that I’ve rated (Harpoon). Must seek out more examples, I really enjoyed both.
