Commercial Description:
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

500ml bottle. Hazy amber color with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Mild aroma of hops, caramel and nuts reminds me of a brown ale. Flavor was drier than expected, with the hops in front and some caramel malt in the background. Quite enjoyable, my first Keller.

A small and frothy head over a coppery-amber body. No visualization of "cloudiness". Decidedly malty aromas were dirty-caramel with an underscore of lemon hops. I’m hard-pressed to describe the flavor in words... experience it for yoursellf... bittersweet/sour & flat with earthiness. Palate was light-to-medium bodied with a dry-creaminess, although a little on the thin side. If others of this style are similar, I’m anxious to sample.

River-sedimented and red-orange with a watery head that settled thin. There’s a sugary-caramel aroma. Tart alcohol flavors rule the day, but settle as you go. Cooked sugars, not unlike a Belgian strong ale.

Hazy amber color, thin creamy head. Light aroma of hop. Some malt; sweet caramel taste, strong bitterness. Quite good.

Fresh hop and grassy nose, hazy pale copper color, low frothy head. Thin caramelly malt that turns quickly to a high res hop bitter - nice! Watery body but kinda fun, so overall enjoyable.

Murky orange color, small layer of a head. Malty and actually a very bready nose with some banana hints. Hoppy - long lasting and medium intense. Kicks on the back of the roof. Nice one!

Poured a cloudy amber color with very little head. Aroma is light hops, nutty and a bit of malt. Flavor is malty with a bit of hops and some must... Thin mouthfeel with little carbonation.

Bottle. Lasting clumping head and lacing. Golden copper colour. Not very cloudy at all. Soft hop aroma like a nice Pale Ale with some spice and malt in the background. Soft body. Lite malt and hops. Bit of a seawater finish. Delicate beer with a light hop/spice.
