Cask lagers i’ve decided are a good idea! Dry bready start. Apples and pears. Wholemeal bread. Grassy and bitter, slightly herbal/grassy hops in the finish. Dry very more-ish finish. This is really tasty stuff. haddonsman (1234), Derby, Derbyshire, England

My first Kellerbeir as well and it’s a great introduction. Hazy gold (love how the pump clip warned you it’s supposed to be hazy), had a fruity maltiness that I wasn’t expecting, crisp hops developed towards the finish, glad I tried it. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

Just a touch of underlying malt. Fresh and clean. mellow finish. Quite nice. Cask (handpump) at Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London.

Beautiful aroma featuring layers of hops, fruit. Flavor is on the sweet side, oily feel, with a sour bitterness and bite at times. Overall, enjoyable. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England

When hand pumped out of the cask this beer looks very much like a bitter, and could probably pass for one. However this is a fairly typical kellerbier, malty, fairly yeasty. Notes of caramel. Nice. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2004 Hazy golden-copper body with a dense load of fine suspended yeast and a loose soapy white head. Buttery, nutty malt nose with a light floral hop aroma and notes of yeasty bread dough. Flavor is fruity and worty with a tangy zing and delicate bittering hops. This beer is considerably maltier than expected. A prominent tea element builds up and detracts. Cornfield (4941), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Fruits & malts in the aroma. Smoooth mouthfeel with sweet malt tastes and hints of dried fruits. Likeable dry, bitter finish. Refreshing brew.

Light brown European beer served from the Cast in the British style.
Fruity & dryish tasting this had a distinct Lager smell to it. And you could defiantly taste the alcohol in the beer (though it’s not all that strong)
Served a bit to cold too
