A wee bit of lemon and you could have confused me into thinking this was a German Hefeweizen. Crisp, clean beginning, middle and end. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 12, 2004 Murky amber with a frail white head. malty and yeasty aroma. Thin bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavor was earthy but not in any sense appealing. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2004 Cloudy indeed with a yeasty/grassy nose. Toasty, malty flavors dominate, but there are some hoppy notes in the finish. Very smooth throughout. DrnkMcDermott (1865), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

Nice to finally encounter this minor style. A nice little noseful of German hops for what appears to be your standard lager. Low carbonation as advertised, but still enough to give this a light zing. Malts seems a little "aged," in a good way. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Unfiltered and a light color but this hides a little extra hops than expected. Small head and a sweat aroma. Yeast makes most of the flavor stand out here which makes this a decent sipping beer. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 12, 2004 Hazy deep golden in color with an orange hue and a small off-white head. Aroma ia flowery and bready. Flavor is bready, with toasted malt,a hint of orange and citrus, finishing somewhat bitter, acidic and astringent. Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 7, 2004 Cloudy orange with a small rocky white head. Sweet malts, full bodied, rich sweet (fruit-like), yet bitter flavor with way more characteristics than the aroma. An excellent beer with some interesting character. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 2, 2004 This is a pretty boring beer. I’ve had plenty of beers that tasted like this, but apparently this is a "Keller"bier. The body is a fairly clear copper, with a minimal off-white head. Aroma and flavor are dominated by earthy (fall leaves) hops, with a touch of toasty malt balancing the coveted flowers. Unfortunately this pairing fails to intrigue this rater’s palate. Boring and not worth seeking out; a disappointing example of a new style for me.
