This beer rocks.
Heavy malt, lightly yeasty aroma. Banana bread and a carameled apple in the nose. Very nice.
Medium, hazy amber color with a medium sized, creamy head. Fully lasting. Good lacing.
Very malty and slightly sweet upon first entering the mouth, then the light hops hit and balance the ale right out. Hints of caramel and prune.
Full bodied with a fizzy, oily mouthfeel. Long, medium dry, crisp finish. Just a touch pungent. Very nice ale. A must try.

Oct 3, 2008 Brown colored brew. Aroma is wine, fruits.
Flavor is fruity, berries, cherries, wine, some sweetness some burned malts. Overall a bit too much fruits. Palate is not nice, sourness and alcoholic.

Sep 27, 2008 A dark clear brown ale with a thick moka head, and lots of fluffy sludge. A very nice sweet caramel with molasses, tobacco leafes and berries. Nice! In mouth, a nutty malt, fragrant, with loads of coriander, molasses, raisins. Rich and pungeant. Pleasantly surprised. Bieropholie import. BB April 2009.

Very dark red, healthy off-white head. Strawberry jam aroma, some raspberry too. Quite sour on the tongue - and with healthy carbonation. Curious taste - quite sour and metallic, but not nasty, and some alcohol too. Decent burnt edge, but lacking the fullness I look for in a dubbel.

Pours deep, red-brown with a big, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is dried fruits, light chocolate, raisins and caramel. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is softly yeasty, finely roasted, sweet chocolate, great balance, raisins, plums. Nice.
