| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 29, 2009 On tap. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a thin, white head that has little retention and leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma is perfume, potpourri, curacao, peach schnapps. Taste is watered down peach schnapps. A bit oily on the palate. Perfumey, peachy all around. A bit too chemical, artificial, contrived. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 13, 2009 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of the inside of a can of oranges and some wheat. Tastes metallic and sweet with some sryuppy hints on the finish. DrnkMcDermott (1852), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 13, 2009 12 bottle, trade with Daknole. Poured carefully into a large glass to find a big head of foam. Under that big fizzy head is a slightly dark golden beer color that we can pretend is pale ale. Smell is okay, basic fruit nose. There is mango here. It’s a mild flavored fruit, so it actually goes well in this beer, giving it a kind of warmly-fermented ale feeling. Beer character is not distinguished, but it lets the fruit work its way in. Just not too exceptional. Starts to taste like fruit extract after a while. GG (1640), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 I was suprised at how much I enjoyed this beer, and equally impressed at how the mango shows up. Some of my favorite IIPA’s have that tropical fruit/mango profile so to actually have it included in the beer was nice.
The beer pours out a deep gold color, clear with a hefty 2" white head. The aroma has the solid mango notes and some light malty sweetness. No hops detected to signify a pale ale, but the fruit was accounted for. Flavor had the same thing. Lots of juicy mangos on the flavor, light sweet bready malts on the palate with a bit of dirty penny.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 29, 2009 OK first off, I like mangoes. Salads, smoothies & lassies, salsa, coulis, you name it. But mango beer?? I knew this would be awful but I was drawn to it like a car accident you can’t look away from. don’t ask me why. the body is pale golden and mostly clear, the head is thick foamy white. the aroma is apricots that never sweetened, dried straw/grass, pale malts, and stale tropical fruit lifesavers. flavor is grainy, skunky pale lager malts, dry grassy apricots that were left refridgerated until they lost all good taste. Mangoes never taste this wrong. watery mouthfeel, finish is artificial banana and perfume, mostly dry. drink at your own risk! jredmond (1040), New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Pours a clear amber gold body, no head. The aroma is straight up mango. The flavor is somewhat offensive with strong notes of mango. blkitson (137), Westerville, Ohio, USA
