Bottle - 250ml. Hazy gold body topped with a thin white creamy head. Good hoppy aroma with herbal, flowery, and apple notes. Its malty taste is rather thin and ends with a short sour finish. Not impressed...

a little sweet to be an original gueze but not too bad, herbal flavour, slightly fizzy, good one to start people on the geuze train

Tasted on tap. Very simple, basic gueuze. Aroma is traditionally musty. Lightly sweet. Medium acidity. Nothing special.

Light amber colour with a light foamy white head and lace that hugs the glass. The nose is slightly skunked, yet there are still barnyard hints and it’s a bit tart and dusty. The body is quite sweet and sugary for a gueuze. Lightly tart and spritzy finishes short and sweet. Not a great gueuze.

Clear, bright orange-amber w/ pale tan foam. Aroma is sweet & malty w/ some light tart apple notes. Light, highly carbonated feel. Odd flavour for a gueuze--sweet & malty w/ some earthy bitterness & almost not tartness. Overall quite bland w/ a cardboard-ish quality.

[bottle] Woody coriander aroma with some strawberry, apricot, and peach notes. Complex and fruity. Thick, glossy, white foam over a foggy, orange-chestnut liquid. Sugary sweet lotus root malt flavour with some strawberry and white grape with a little horseblanket and only a tiny hint of sourness, that is definitely not sufficient. Medium body, moderate carbonation, fruity-sweet finish.

corked 375ml bottle. again, same as the mort subite geuze, this is lacking in the tart, and sourness. its thin, and wattery, not very pleasant.

deep gold, firm white head. mild skunk aroma with stale metallic notes. bready, lemony, yeasty aroma. flavour starts sour like a real gueuze but finishes sickly sweet for the style. didn’t do it for me.
