| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2009 Pours a clear headless gold with an oaky sour aroma. Tastes sour at first, fruity - cheap apple juice, opening up into a sweeter almost buttery finish. Lots of carbonation, thin body. Quaffable, but sour-heads would be advised to avoid this one. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia

My notes just tell me it was "An okay gueuze" says it all really!!!! onystrom (800), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

Sourish aroma, with hints of wet cardboard and malt. Spicy and fruity.
Quite small didn´t open up after 15 minutes in the glass.
Spicy and fruity flavor with little acidity.
Hay and a little tartness.
It opens up after 15 minutes in the glass and gets smoother and a bit bitter.
Almost as Campari.
A hint of grapefruit rind gets trough.
Cantillon is to sour and this is to sweet.
Lambics are a hard bargain. DerWeg (777), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 16, 2005 Cork bottle, new, chilled in goblet. Hint Orval-esque herbal bouquet amid tinges of musty oak. Funny ’hollow’ body and feel and taste to this gueuze, with an odd flavored sweetness. Crisp nose. Dusty oakish flavors I like in a gueuze but overall dilute product, this beer lacks good bones, really. For a generic Gueuze i really prefer Belle Vue. TheJester (717), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 6, 2008 375 mL (green) bottle. Orange-amber with just a ring of head. This smells like a gueuze, but the flavour seems too sweet. And it’s not really very dry. I’m far from an expert on the style, but this one doesn’t seem quite right.
