Hazy gold color. Drinkable ladies' beer, quite sweet, and not enough Gueuze.

[Tasting @ yespr] Clear golden with medium head. Aroma is slight sour with light barnyardy notes and sweet fruits. Flavor is sweet and sour with wood, brett and grapefruit notes. To much sugar really…

(RBESG05, bottle, best by 2/04) Hazy brown body topped by a beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, lemon, caramel. Light-medium body. How can it be so sweet?! Bleah!

A bit hazy amber color, very small white head. Tart and sugary aroma, hints of horse saddle. Leathery flavor with tartness in the background ... artifical sweeteners dominate the flavor. There is similarities to those orange-flavored vitamin C -pills. Short finish with plumish notes. As expected from St. Louis -series - not the real MacCoy.

25cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear amber with very thin white head. Some lambic on the aroma. I thought that this was ok. Just a little on the sweet side. But the real lambic comes through. Fine and quite drinkable.

Deep amber with an OK head. The aroma is acidic. The flavour is initially sour in a fresh and typical way, but then comes sweetness, caramel and fruit along. The sweetness is too strong for this kind of beer...

Bottle. Amber colour. Small well lasting white ehad. Fair lacing. Sweetish yeasty sour aroma. Sweet, soft, yeasty, fruity sour flavour.

Sharp aromna of oak lemon and cherry. Sweet and a bit sour flavor. Not too bad, but a bit artificial.
