Bottle: Poured a amber color with white head. Aroma has a sourness to it. Taste is sweet to sour hard to describe overall flavor. Mouth remains dry and tingly.

50cl bottle@carlsenskvarter,Odense. Clear gold with surprisingly large & lasting white creamy head. Aroma is both sweet & sour - mostly sweet. Notes of corn & fruit. Vague vinegar notes. Sticky & very easy drinkable gueze.

375ml Bottle: Pours a clear, pale orange colour, good sized white head that reduced to a thin layer until it was done. A sour aroma, apple and pear cider, white wine, peppery spice. Lots of fruity apple and pear in the flavour, obviously sour, but with significant sugar content. Unlike any gueuze I’ve had, not that I’m an expert, but reminds me of what would happen if you poured apple juice and pear cider into a gueuze. Average.

(Bottle) Pours a grayish amber colour. The aroma is sourish, tart and citric with notes of wood, mold, basement, chemicals, tart unripe tropical fruits, toasty malt and hints of stable. The flavour is medium sweet and light to medium tart and acid. Some wood, mold and vinegar. Fruity undertones of apples and light citrus. Soft carbonation. Medium dry finish. Light to medium bodied.

Pours a clear headless gold with an oaky sour aroma. Tastes sour at first, fruity - cheap apple juice, opening up into a sweeter almost buttery finish. Lots of carbonation, thin body. Quaffable, but sour-heads would be advised to avoid this one.

Tasted 2007-07-22. Fresh bottle, 25cl. Golden beer with creamy head. Sour, pineapple, barnyard, champagne. Fresh taste! OK gueuze, but better exists!

Horse-blanket aroma. Quite watery. Gentle taste, very musty and sweaty. Not acidic enough.

25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex sweet gueuze, yet refreshing, balanced, clear, good head, simpel brew
