Amber with a fairly permanent head and sweet, sugary flavour with apricot, and very little sourness. Sanchex (224), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

For me that was the best part though. Aroma and flavour is made up of wheat, coriander, cloves, a little ginger, with a mild sweetness. Cheers! tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 13, 2005 Green apples are lightly tart and contrast with citrus and wheat aromas and a mild lambic character. Clear deep copper coloured body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled white head that recedes to a thin but lasting cover with plenty of lacing. Candylike sweetness undercuts the tart green apple flavour with a mildly musty herbal finish. Some notes of pears and peaches are apparent especially in the aftertaste. Light body with strong, sharp, pointy carbonation that prickles the tongue. Snifter. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Bièropholie, Nov-05). beerhugger (541), Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

Well I guess this is like a macro-version of many other types of beer - made for the masses. It has some pleasant refreshing qualitites but it certainly doesn’t slap you with the assertive sour notes that I love so much. Malty and bubbly, apple cider aromas and grassiness. Overall it was drinkable but not nearly truly geueze-like for me. shrubber85 (2995), Wallhalben, Germany

Sweet musty hay flavor. Fairly weak. Pretty average for a sweetened (nontraditional) gueuze. kibbs (10), Ontario, Canada
