(Bottle) Pours a lightly golden body with a small white head. Aroma of earthiness and tart. Flavor is tart (chardonnay grapes, apple) and sugary.

A pleasent geueze, which is nice for newcomers, so if you are for the Cantillons then forget this. But refreshing it is in the summerheat with notes of sweet sourgrapes. Sparkling darkorange hazy head with summernotes as flowers, herbal and sourfruits. For my wife!

Bottle picked up from Beers of Europe late April. Poured light amber in colour with a small white head, slightly acidic aroma but tempered somewhat, almost like when you are sweating off some cooking apples in a pan with a bit of dark sugar. Taste is a bit sweet for a gueuze, but pleasant enough some tangy appleness comes through again with an oakiness, enjoyable but nowhere near the best of this style.

Bottle.[Tasting session @ yespr, thanks for a great evening Jesper] Hug thick creamy like off-white head that mostly lasted. Clear sparkling body with a golden colour. Aroma of light sour barnyard notes, hint of cheese, soap and perfume. Over the palate come sweet fruity notes with light sweet wheat. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavour with light sour notes. Light sweet and sour finish.

375 ml bottle from the LCBO. i was surprised to find a gueuze available at the lcbo and pick this up with high expectations. pours light amber with a medium white head. aromas are sweet and sour but no real funk that i was hopping for. flavours are ok and moderatly complex. sweet gives way to some sourness leading to a dry finish. ok i guess but not what i was expecting and i hope to try some better gueuze soon.

(37.5 cl bottle at Café 3 Små Rum, Göteborg) BB 08-2008. On April 18, 2008. Clear pale golden color, big white head. Acidic, apple, nutty scent. Sweet, lactic, slight acidic taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Apple and apricot sweet aftertaste. Taste more like a Faro than a Lambic - gueuze to me.
