Not a very bright colour. Fruity aroma and dito flavour.

Aroma of vinegar, citrus and yeast. Hazy, amber-yellow xoloured with a lasting white head. Taste is tart, a litlle yeasty, some citrus and a little hopbitterness. Decent brew.

(37.5 cl bottle at Café 3 Små Rum, Göteborg) BB 08-2008. On April 18, 2008. Clear pale golden color, big white head. Acidic, apple, nutty scent. Sweet, lactic, slight acidic taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Apple and apricot sweet aftertaste. Taste more like a Faro than a Lambic - gueuze to me.

Shared with Pyrozoid. Clear orange/amber poor with a tiny off-white head. Aromas of oranges, sour apples, pine resin, lemon juice and rhubarb. Sweet unexpected for a gueuze... and unexpected after listing the aromas. The acid mouthfeel hits you right off the bat but very quickly switches to a longlasting sweetness and a very faint bitter palate. Acid fruits completes the flavors... but again... slightly to sweet. Good tasting beer but very far from its actual style.

375 ml bottle from the LCBO. i was surprised to find a gueuze available at the lcbo and pick this up with high expectations. pours light amber with a medium white head. aromas are sweet and sour but no real funk that i was hopping for. flavours are ok and moderatly complex. sweet gives way to some sourness leading to a dry finish. ok i guess but not what i was expecting and i hope to try some better gueuze soon.

I tried this beer on March 3, 2008 after purchasing from my local LCBO outlet. The beer poured a translucent orangy-red colour with a generous white bubbly head which quickly disappeared. The aroma was faintly sour apples. not as strong as others have suggested. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, almost creamy, and highly carbonated. The flavour wasn’t all that sweet...very reminiscent of the crabapples I used to eat as a child on the way to school. Not a lot of malty flavours or hoppy tones in this one.

The aroma is a very mild sour apple scent. The appearance is a very clean golden color, with a thin white collar. The flavor is a nice tart sour flavor, similar to a farmhouse style cider. The flavors are of super tart apple. The feel is a nice initial champagne like bubbly effervescence that transforms into a dry feel, with an interestingly nutty late ending.

I’m not too familiar with sour beers, this is my second. Soft aromas of apples, cherries, raspberries and bready yeasts. Taste is sour cherries but a bit of malt too. Not very sour at all just a well felt acidity all along a bit like an oak aged beer. I enjoyed it.
