Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 7, 2006 The is the palest yellow beer I’ve ever seen with a thin white head - only the head wants me to give it a 1 in appearance, the color should give it a 0. The aroma is sour and corny, but the flavor is very different, it is sweet with notes of straw, corn, and soap. And no wonder - the body is thin. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 18, 2005 Canned. Botswana’s one and only own commecial clear (= non-sorghum) beer pours fizzy pale yellow, but with relatively firm head. The aroma is neutral and nondescript. It’s watery, fizzy and bland - almost Bud Light-like. There’s a vague hint of cereals, nothing more, before it fizzes out into a somewhat metallic finish. The Kgagaladi brewery produces a wide range of license brewed versions of SAB’s beers, but sadly I preferred this one to them in the end. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 7, 2006 (Can 34 cl) Pours a very pale golden with a decent but clinically white head. Rather unpleasant aroma of sulphur. Light-bodied with a crude bitterness and weak metallic notes. Disharmonious and unpleasant. 070606 Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 24, 2006 Very pale straw colour. Sour, grainy aroma. Watery, slightly grainy. A little bit husky and minerally. No particular bitterness. Creamy water. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 8, 2006 Can.
