In this case, what is too sweet for some is fine for others. I liked this. It poured a deep ruby red with a pink champagne head. The raspberry aroma was more of a syrup than fresh raspberries but still passable. Sparkly in the mouth and on the syrupy side. Very sweet taste of raspberry jam. Nice summer sipper. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia

Enjoyed in my wife’s bought-in-Bruges Lindemans Framboise flute. Poured slightly hazy pink-ruby with a big foamy-rocky-creamy pinkish-white head. Strong aroma of sweetened fresh ripe raspberries, maybe a bit of sweet white wine - enough tartness to avoid being overpoweringly sweet. Taste is way too sweet - like a raspberry popsicle - lightly fizzy mouthfeel, a bit watery, sticky - this is more of a fruit juice than a beer. SB (318), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

poured ruby red. Nice bubbly pink head. Aroma of sweet raspberries. Flavor the same, raspberries up front giving away to sourness. Good carbonation. Medium bodied, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry finish. Overall it was just raspberries and sourness. Other framboises that I’ve had were a little more complex. EithCubes (2169), Indiana, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2006 A strong aroma of raspberries dominates. The color is pinkish with a fizzy pink head. A very sweet palate of raspberries is tasted throughout. GreenDragon (213), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 9, 2006 Pours a cherry orange with a thick sustained brown head. Strong strong aroma of raspberries. Strong lively raspberry taste on a weak body. The best way to describe this beer would be to say that it tastes like raspberry jam in a soda. If they kicked the alcohol up to 8-11%, this would make for a very interesting beer, but as it is right now, it’s not very enjoyable. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
