Fresh raspberries in aroma, like a jam. Nice tart sweet fruits in mouth, with pleasant little lactic points, not too chemical in nature (like the Bellevue). Rich for such a light beer. An honest frambozien. (Bièropholie, Nov-05). SledgeJr (2961), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 29, 2006 In the 375 mL green bottle with the 20 mm cap. Pours a burgundy purple color with a pale purple-pink head. Aroma is outstanding of ripe raspberries. Flavor smacks of the same. At first taste, this registered very tart on my tongue, but the sourness mellows as you drink it. Although the fruit sweetness emerges, it still has a delicious tartness. The finish gives you a little tinge of hop bitterness at the end. Is this really under 3% ABV? That’s something of a shock. Ungstrup (15234), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 14, 2006 This is my first Lambec ale. I am not a big fan of fruit in my beer. The ale pours with light white head and raspberry color. This ale is just too sweet for me. There are hints of yeast and fermentation. This may be a drink popular with the other gender. joergen (8610), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 5, 2006 Bottled. Red coloured. Artificial raspberry aroma. Very sweet and sticky flavour. Highly concentrated and sugary. Very nasty. Boutip (2364), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2006 Bottle: Poured a reddish color beer with a nice medium size light pink head with average retention. Aroma of raspberry is clearly dominating with a nice mix between real raspberry and some syrup. Taste is also quite dominated by the raspberry with some very subtle sourness. This really reminded me of the Lindemans Framboise with a bit less tart and sourness.
