750 mL bottle from Market Street Wineshop Downtown Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear ruby red color with floaties. Medium head with good head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet and tart raspberries. Taste is sweet, tart and slightly bitter raspberries. Syrupy texture. Full bodied.

This raspberry red lambic ale poured with a cute pink head and an intense raspberry aroma. It’s a very tasty fruit drink that has little resemblance to beer. Don’t expect much in the way of lambic characteristics, such as yeasty and sour. Just enjoy it’s drinkabilty.

March Houston Tasting. Pours a brownish pink pour. Nose of very sweet strawberries. Flavor is like strawberrey syrup, with very little sourness. Ech.

bottle the premium framboise goes for the very sweet style. Light sourness and tartness in the finish gives a slight refreshing kick. Very rich raspberry flavor, syrupy, but keeps a fresh raspberry flavor. This was very good for a sweet fruit beer, but I enjoy a bit more sourness in the finish to keep it refreshing.

Bottle thanks to Zinister at Houston RB sour/lambic/gueze tasting. Nose is sickenly sweet and sugary. Tastes like a bad cough syrup-sweet, thick, and difficult to swallow. Drain pour.

As I was opening the bottle, I smelled some sourness, then during the pour I could smell the raspberries. Dark red pour with a red-tinged white head. I wish I knew more about lambics. This is my first. I experienced so many flavors in that first sip- sweetness, little sour, some dryness in the aftertaste. There were some more but I’m not sure how to detail it. This could be the start of something wonderfull.

25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex sweet fruit brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, clear, good head, nothing special, too sweet
