| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Pours a dark, cloudy red. Aroma is of raspberry suckers and phenolic alcohol. The flavor is light, sweet-tart and non-offensive. I find it a bit too sweet, but not disgustingly so. Slightly artificial, but again, not horrible. Finish is dry and tannic, and the body is medium thick and syrupy. There is also an aftertaste of...i shit you not...pork rinds. DesiTabla2112 (42), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2008 Poured into a Cantillon tumbler. Pours the color of raspberry preserves with a pink-ecru head. Some wet spotty lacing. Aroma is raspberry sorbet with enough sharpness to wake up the salivary glands. Raspberry pancake syrup flavor, sweet orange, and a little bit of that tannic raspberry seed tartness. Not dissimilar to NG Raspberry Tart but that isn‘t a lambic. I prefer less bordering-on-artificial sweetness and more complexity from a wild beer. Sticky mouthfeel, very effervescent. File this one somewhere between Lindemanns and Boon, probably closer to the former. Easy to drink, works well as a dessert beer or a beer to pair with chocolate. ghawener (963), San Salvador, El Salvador
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Bottle: Red berries, sweet and refreshing, dark red bursting with raspberry aroma and flavor. A nice change after all those Imperial IPAs. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Massive sweet raspberry nose, somewhat tart and dusty smelling. Big, sweet raspberry flavor, bouncy on the tongue. This beer seems to get a bad rap - I think it’s refreshing, sweet and delish! daknole (2942), Plantation, Florida, USA

The last entry is exactly right, it does compare to a NG Rasp Tart. Raspberries on the nose and tongue. Sweet wtiha great balance of tartness. But not sour at all. Some people rate these sweeter lambics too low. Its a shame. YUMMMMMM! darkguardian (506), Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2008 16 oz bottle. Pours a rustic red color with tons of floating yeast. Small pink head. BIg huge nose of raspberry and some brettiness in the nose. Sudbued wildness. Very fruity. Flavor is a good balance of sweet and a tad bit of sour. No vinegar but a nice tartness lingers on the tongue. No oakiness like in some of the better framboise lambics. Still a very solid lambic thats good for lambic newbies.
