| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 10, 2008 375ml bottle. Pours out a darker red colour with a medium, bubbly pink head. Huge aroma of raspberries and not much else. Raspberries once again dominate the flavour. Very easy drinking but not very complex for a fruit beer. Definitely more fruit than beer. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 8, 2008 Bottle. Deep red colour, pink head. Huge sweet smell of raspberries, overpowering everything else. Taste is very sweet, raspberries. Great as a lemonade (still too sweet though), not as a beer. brigg (216), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

The strong ripe-raspberry aroma is just as sweet as the beer itself. It actually tastes quite delicious, it just doesn’t taste much like a beer, more like liquid candy (or a soda). The flavor is pretty one-dimensional, though the body has a nice feel to it. crowderm (285), Recklinghausen, Germany
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Honestly, this beer is delicious. Yes, it’s very sweet, but there is just enough bitterness in there to make in manageable. Tastes like raspberry sorbet. This would make an awesome desert beer. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma of raspberries and sweet malt. Taste of raspberries, sugar and sweet malt. Fizzy mouth feel, very sweet and tart, decent fruity beer. puzzl (2635), New York, New York, USA

No cough syrup or fake fruit flavors to be found. Syrup, perhaps, but it does indeed taste like raspberry. Some cheesiness, herbs. A bit of cherry and saltiness. I’ve had far worse. Deep red, no head. Huge raspberry aroma. Big sweet raspberry body, no lambic kick (see the peche for a contrast). Lightly fizzy in the mouth. Refreshing, sweet, not too comples. Fruit-juicy. Some soft light grain creamy body too.
