Big bottle. Pours a sparkling red with a pink head that jumps out at you. The aroma is amazing; this beer could be used as an aroma therapy tool. Raspberries and cream. The taste is pretty one sided; a rich raspberry tartness that is border line over the top. Not an every day beer, but decent.

This was the perfect size for me. Okay, so I shared it with about 4 other people, but they all enjoyed it because it is the antithisis of what a lambic/gueuze is. It’s sweet, syrupy, perhaps a bit cloying and really over-the-top fruity. Tons of fresh raspberries in the nose. I’m talking still on the vine fresh, because there was that bit of musty/earthyness there as well. A touch acidic in the nose too. Appearance was a medium-dark reddish color, with a light pink foamy head. Mouthfeel was a bit on the thick side. Flavors were raspberries, tartness, a bit of funk, but mostly raspberries. It was a PERFECT accompanyment to the cheesecake we had for dessert. I mean it reaally was a beautiful thing. This is a dessert beer if there ever was one, and it’s pairing should be forever tied to cheesecake.

Bottle. Reddish, copper-tinted body with a minimal, off-white head on top. More a one-bubble layer of bubbles than a real head. Slightly artificial, raspberry aroma, sourish and sweetish. Sour and quite sweet flavor as well, definately berry-ish, and it also gives a little oxidized impression. Medium body, quite sticky in the mouth. There’s a long, artificial, slightly sour and sweet raspberry finish. Maybe a little astringency as well. Nice for a 2.8% beer, but I won’t drink it often. (071027)

It’s like opening a soda, the raspberries are to artificial. Dark red, pink head and a strong, artificial raspberry aroma. The flavour is sweet with a lot of artificial raspberry notes and there is a little mustyness in there too. Artificial sweeteners should not be in a beer...

Bottle from beers of europe. Aroma is supr candid rasberry, very sweet but very fresh. Taste is again very sweet and lots rasberry but theres some tartness trying to add that sweet and sour flavour. Carbonation is great and it looks awsome. However leaves my lips dry as its soo sweet and after a pint would become too much.

Cloudy ruby red color. Smell of raspberries, sour grapes and syrup. Smells like the syrup at IHOP. Taste of sour raspberries and candy. Very sweet. Would go good with breakfast.

Draught. Dark blood red pour with pink edges, small pink head that is quick to vanish. Nose is metallic/artificial raspberry, sour candy, dirty/earthy notes and tannins. This doesn’t smell appetizing at all. Flavor is similar, more metallic/tangy notes, raspberry extract, everything just tastes fake and way too sweet. Palate is sticky as hell, cloying is too light of a word. Very syrupy as well. Finish is medium length, artificial raspberry, candy and some tartness, but too late to save anything. Not good at all.
