The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very malty-roasty, intense notes of bacon. Also very spicy. Finish malty-dry, well balanced. Quite drinkable. Unusual, but good dunkel!

Bottled@Björntasting. Deep ruby red colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, sweet malts, rye, toffee and some mild wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same. A bit too sweet to be really nice.

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a big and grey-beige foamy head. Sweet and moderately roasted malty aroma with a nutty and slightly leafy touch, accompanied by shades of herbal hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty, slightly ashy taste with nutty side effects; dry toast-malty finish with a tinge of metallic hops (07.VII.09).
