Reddy, lightly hazy, brown, with a brief head. Slightly sweet, thin and metallic aroma. Crisp carbonation, retronasals a bit alcoholic, but quite pleasantly grainy. Taste a touch yeasty, fairly richly roasted grains, some liquorice. Bitterness quite biting and potent - leaves a tingle in the mouth, exacerbated by the carbonation certainly. Long finish pleasantly grainy. Initially a bit wanting in a few dimensions, it improves as it warms, and the various components work together synergistically. Allen (1425), Switzerland

Flavor and palate: Sweet. Huge amounts of cinnamon, molasses, plums, carrots, fennel and marmite showing up. Yeasty. Medium to full bodied. Low bitterness. Sweet finish with lingering hints of yeast and plums. Overall impression: Very nice with sophisticated spicy, fruity components. Rune (2859), Tromsø, Norway

Flavour of fruit-filled, sweet malts, slightly roasted. Not enough bitterness in the finish to counter all the sweetness. Foamy in the mouth (Tromsø, 21.02.2009). mike1977ok (648), Netherlands
