Decent level of carbonation - not too fizzy. Darkly fruity and raisin sweet. Not much happening, unless you like raisin sweet beers. AndersR (194), Århus, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2004 Nice dark redbrown color with quite large fragments floating around. Lasting tan head. A nice fruity aroma with hints of yeast. Quite sweet at first with a more citrus/acidic finish. Funny enough it gets a bit watery at the finish? A good Abbey ale, but far from the best ive tasted... | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 20, 2004 Bottle pours a plum color with a small head and some lace. The aroma is fruity and slightly yeasty. The flavor is... different. Pretty dry, with some roastiness and lingering sour fruit. The palate is fairly rich. Overall, I really just do not like the way this one behaves. Hansen (2281), Randers, Denmark

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 13, 2004 An amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel and ginger. The flavor is acidic and slightly sweet - it hints of a queze but makes a weird nothing. MartinKubert (862), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 11, 2004 Strange sour aroma and flavor. Some slightly alcoholic notes. Something citric and lactic. Almost geuze-like, but lacks the dry feeling from the good geuze. Too sweet there. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
